Watched Benjamin Button with huili yst. Wasn't too bad. Personally i didnt find it too draggy either. However, when we left the cinema, surprisely, me and huili had the same tot. "So wad message is this movie trying to brg across?" We cldn't get it, or is it too "chem" for us to understand? lol.. However, tot brad pitt acted pretty well. :)

After the movie, i accompanied huili for her Christian Lifestyle bible study in riverwalk @Clarke Quay. It was only about an hour after which we went KOPITIAM for a meal. (we din't want to eat BK, so din't join chen li and simon.. we oso wanted gif them some privacy :P) lol. the view frm KOPITIAM is absolutely fantastic! Then we went to buy mini donuts at Dippin' Donut for just 12 for $4! Then we shopped ard basement 1 n found this Jap mini-mart called Yamakawa Super. It has a wide variety of Japanese snacks and drinks that u'll feel so tempted to buy them hme! But its so expensive! One choco there which cost $2.50 is sold in Japan for only $1.30!! Seriously, CENTRAL is a nice place to shop where they've mani unique shops.. too bad the crowd jus isn't there...

movies i want to watch.

"Slumdog Millionaire" is the story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?"

But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much? Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life in the slum where he and his brother grew up, of their adventures together on the road, of vicious encounters with local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Each chapter of his story reveals the key to the answer to one of the game show's questions.

Intrigued by Jamal's story, the jaded Police Inspector begins to wonder what a young man with no apparent desire for riches is really doing on this game show?

When the new day dawns and Jamal returns to answer the final question, the Inspector and sixty million viewers are about to find out...

"I was born under unusual circumstances." And so begins "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, "Benjamin Button," is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.
